Name: Taco Seasoning Mix
Ingredients: 3 tablespoons ground cumin; 3 tablespoons chili powder; 2 tablespoons sea salt; 2 tablespoons black pepper; 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder; 1 tablespoon paprika (or smoked paprika); 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano; 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder; 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder

We love this seasoning for our tacos, so to make things easier when we have them, I make a batch of the seasoning mix up ahead of time. Taco Seasoning Mix

Ingredients

3 tablespoons ground cumin

2 tablespoons sea salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon paprika or smoked paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder

Instructions

Combine all ingredients and store in a sealed container. Use 2 T. of seasoning mix per pound of meat. Add to cooked meat with 1/2 cup or so of water, and simmer until the liquid is gone.
